Mahindra 3525
I have a Mahindra 3525 tractor with front loader and PTO. And I have an 3 point backhoe. I need to connect the hydraulic system of backhoe to the tractor's hydraulic sistem. Backhoe has two hoses going from the control valve. One goes from port "IN", on the other port is nothing written. The tractor has a control valve with 7 hoses. 4 hoses go to the front loader. Another 3 go from ports T2B, T3A, P3P2. From the port P3P2 hose goes to the pump. From ports and T2B T3A hoses go away in a box of the tractor: T3A - behind the box, T2B - front (before seat). Question: where to connect the hoses from backhoe to make it work?

I would think one of the ports being supplied from the pump has a pass-through port. Would be nice to have a plumbing schematic of the hydraulic system in order to make sure.

Others with more knowledge will surely chime in soon enough...

You only say that you need to "connect to the hydraulics of the BH"?...What you want to look for is a "PB" (power beyond) port...this is the ticket...!

If there is no "PB" port on the BH control valve check the check the loader valve for a "PB" port...this may be your most economical solution

I see 7 hoses on the loader valve.

You could perhaps remove the PB hose and run it to the back with a male QD for the pressure hose.

Then make a new hose with a female QD that will run from the back to the 3pt input.

Those two hoses going to the rear will be your BH connection.

If not using the BH, just plug the two QD's together .

What you have done is interrupted the series path of the fluid from the loader valve PB to the 3pt.

Thank you. I think it is good idea. But only way it gonna work - if there is a circulation of fluid. But if it doesn't go through (there might be a valve to prevent it go through until mechanism of lifting attached equipment doesn't work) this might not work.

If the BH valve is open center and your tractor is open center, and all valves are connected is series why would it not work?

With all valves in neutral, the pump flow is through all the valves to tank.

Ok. Thank you very much. I'll try.

Can you explain me one more thing, please. If I disconnect BH from the tractor and forgot to plug two QD's back together (it means the line "PB - 3pt" is interrupted with dead end) so what gonna happen? Just 3pt will not work or it may cause a problem because of the dead end? Thanks.

You will now have a a deadhead situation, and the FEL relief may go off, but it may not handle the flow, and something will burst, be it a hose, valve, etc.

Always couple those two hoses together.

We would be lost without members like J_J.

I used the same format to attach my BH and it works great.
I do have a question though...
Will my 3 pth splitter work on this set up?
