How to quiet down a Curtis cab

My TC40 has the Curtis hard-side cab and I really like it but the noise from the frame is amplified through the metal of the cab and it's deafening.

I bought some AGCO sound absorbing floor mat material that they use in their cabs, cut it to fit, and that didn't seem to help all that much. Thw walls are bare metal and the ceiling has a thin headliner.

Any suggestions on how I can turn the volume down a bit?

You might try dynomat. It is used to sound absorb car body panels that are rattling from having 7 million watt stereos pushing pumpkin size speakers. It is made for extremes, installs easy, cuts well, doesnt mind cold,heat, and you can cover it with carpet etc. Only problem is it is $$. You can get it at Best Buy, and Circuit city in kit form for smaller areas, high end car audio shops will have it also, they may be able to let you know if it would work in your application.

Well, the AGCO cab mat material I bought was $100 for a 3'x4' section, so hopefully this won't cost much more than that. Are you saying I can put it on walls?

it has an adhesive on the back, you can put it on walls, roof, around your pant legs etc. I used it underneath the hood of my truck (wife doesnt like the noise a 425 hp cummins diesel makes) last year, still there. They use it a lot on hot rods with fiberglass bodies to dampen road noise works very very well. They also use it a lot for taking the buzz/rattle out of very high end car audio setups. It comes in rolls and it is like working with rubber floor mats 1/8" thick or so with a foil backing and a sticky side. It does work very well, except I would expect to pay a couple bills to get enough to do the whole cab, it is expensive.
