OK, here goes a dumb question. How do you raise and lower a MMM (specifically, on a New Holland TC30) to adjust the cut height?

Greetings from Monterrey Mexico. I am commissioning some equipment here and caught your post.
I'm not sure which MMM you are asking about, but my 914A 60" MMM (TC29D) has the height adjusted by a rear wheel assembly that is adjusted by a lever assembly with hitch pin. The front wheels also have a height adjustment by placing a pin in one of several holes in the vertical swivel shaft. Hope this helps.

The way I understand this is that the MMM is always riding on it's wheels, right? There is no way to 'lift' the deck so that the MMM is not touching the ground?

To continue further, the midmount mower can then be locked in the "up" position so you can use raise and lower the 3ph when other implements are on it.

The wheels are for scalping control, the weight is on the 3pt arms that raise and lower the mower.
The wheels are adjustable up and down (i keep mine 1/2" or 12mm above the concrete floor when setting mower up).
Set the 3pt stop at the mower height and go.
Like previous post raise mower all the way up and it can be pinned there and 3 pt is free to use other attachments.
I've got a 84"MMM and this is a great mowing unit.

The 914A MMM is indeed carried by the 3 pt. hitch, and the wheels keep you from scapling the ground, but the 3 point hitch linkage for the MMM has a "float" setting that allows the deck to freely raise when the ground rises under the deck, that way the deck is not locked in one position.
