What now? My TC died today in the middle of a job. It appeared to be an electrical "glitch" as everything was running well and in an instant all the dash lights came on and then the whole thing died. Oddly enough, the Parking Light indicator and the Boom Lock Light remained lit and would not go off.
I figured I'd disconnect the battery to reboot the computer(s) on this thing but could not get to the battery because I couldn't raise the box. (This is a real PIA/design flaw on the TC.) Anyway, according to the BC tech, the way to reboot was to open both fuse boxes in the operator's footwell and pull all relays and fuses that have either a computer or lightning icon. The icons are found on a decal inside the fuse box covers. Then wait 15 minutes and reinstall the fuses/relays.
Everything came back like nothing unusual had ever happened and I finished the job.
Details: I have a "D" model. The fuse box directory under the seat in the footwell has one fuse only to remove. It's fuse #1. Within the other fusebox near your right knee, you'll need to pull one relay and 3 or 4 fuses. Again, the key to know which components to pull can be found on the decal inside the fuse box cover.
