Hi
I had to replace the alternator on a NH LS190 skid steer. I am installing the new unit but am not sure how to slacken off the serpentine belt tensioner.
It does not have a hole for a 1/2 breaker bar which I am told is the standard procedure to grab and pull up on the arm.
Instead, on the pulley is a 3/4 hex head bolt and on the spring end is a Allen head bolt.
Clearance between tensioner and fan is tight 2-3 max.
What is the trick to move that pulley up so I can get the belt on??
Thanks a lot!
