How to Release Kubota B7800 Left Rear Brake

My B7800 left rear brake is stuck and will not allow tractor to move. i had pressed the pedal so many times and still stayed down. wont come up. This happened because the tractor was sliding down backward and i applied the brake hard. it was going uphill and it was muddy. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Can you manipulate the pedal rod? I think that there's an arm back on where it goes into the brake drum(?). I've got the opposite issue: my brakes don't work real well (not like I need them, flat ground and all, but sometimes they might come in handy).

I know it's set up very differently but my Kubota did something like this a few years ago. I failed to keep the brakes in adjustment and one time when I went to make a hard turn I pushed too hard. The way the linkage works is that if you do so and the pedal travel is excessive a part in the linkage flips. When this happened to me it hit the frame and kept the pedal from coming back up. Check your linkages and see if anything looks different from side to side.

I was sort of lucky as the part that flipped was above the floor. To get it to return to normal I had to push like crazy and then pull on the part to get it to go back to normal. Even then I had to adjust the rod for the brake pedal to loosen it up some. Now I just make sure to keep them adjusted correctly.
