Front-End Loader How to remove FEL

Kubota L2650, FEL L450A.

I need to remove my FEL to do repairs. Never took one off before. There are always procedures. Seems to have a square receiver with a locking pin, and quick disconects for hydraulics. I know the FEL is big and dangerous. Help appreciated.

I've never done it on a Kubota, heck for that matter I've never done mine either, but need to. I would start with reading the directions.
I know mine has a "foot" to install so when you set the FEL on the ground it will take the weight off the FEL mounts. Then you have two retaining bolts to loosen, and two pins to pull. Play with the bucket, moving it up or down till the frame is loose from the tractor. Slowly pull away from the tractor taking care to watch the hydraulic hoses. Once your are sure the frame is loose, disconnect the hoses and pull away. On mine I have to connect the two ends left on the tractor that I disconnected from the FEL. Make sure you have the FEL set on a nice hard stable surface, because it can shift if it sinks into the ground. Cement or a nice gravel base is recommended.
I'm not sure any of this will help with your Kubota, but that's how mine works. I do know placing the FEL on the right surface is correct with any FEL.

Start with level hard ground. If you can do it, a sheet of plywood put down will be a big help.
Read the manual instructions and as you do it take notes. Write a procedure in your language elaborating here and there. Put a lot of cautions in your notes and maybe write it up in word for windows so you can print it out next time.
