.... you might consider posting a picture of the friction disk to see what others think about the wear.
I can't get my photos to post. It is probably a pop-up blocker thing.
I found this on another forum and thought it might be helpful for furture folks with this problem:
"The retractor pins are a tight fit in the axle housing. I use a couple of lady slipper pry bars to pry out the brake plate with retractor pins attached. just pry a small amount and work your way around to keep it coming out evenly. Be sure to replace the orings on the brake plate/piston before reinstalling it. Install 3 new retractor pins and use loctite on the threads. When pressing it back in, I like to use three c-clamps right on the threaded end of the retractor pins. be sure to push it in all the way until it stops. Again press in evenly on all three spots to prevent breaking the brake plate."
