I feel like a moron, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to replace the belts on my rear finish mower, an L3572. I removed and sharpened the blades w/o issue but the belts are stumping me. Before all of this, I went on ebay and found a manual/parts book for the mower and it doesn't so much as mention how to R&R belts. I took the center shroud that houses the main drive pulleys and put on the new belts, but once I got it all back together the belts are so tight that I cannot get them onto the outer drive pulleys. I noted the belt adjustment for when the belts get worn and loose, but it doesn't go back far enough to allow me to get them on. What am I missing? Do I need to remove the outer pulleys? Help is greatly appreciated. TIA
