Hi guys. I need some advice on a repair project. I've got a 60" Mahindra mid-mount mower deck, PTO driven, fairly new (only about 30 hours mowing time). The mower gear box has started to leak. The manual says the gearbox should be serviced at 250 hours. Clearly something has gone wrong for it to be leaking and/or needing service at only 30 or so hours. So, assuming it isn't covered under my warranty, how difficult is it to service the gearbox if I buy the service kit? Looking at the part blow-up diagram, it looks like brain surgery! Is it difficult, intermediate, or easy to do? I'm guessing a seal has gone bad or something and would be corrected if I bought the service kit and performed the service. But, I've never done that before so I don't know what I'm getting into. Any advice? Thanks a bunch! Steve
