Hello I have just got a Hayliner 273. Everthing looks to be in working order but i can't figure out how to set up the twine. Where do i place it in the knotter.
How to set up knotter on hew holland hayeliner 273

Thread the twine through the needle and tie the end off around the needle frame. Cycle the knotter and the needle will deliver the twine to the twine disc at the proper time for the disc to grab the twine and hold it. You probably will have to stop and clear a half knot from the billhook before proceding. If you are only threading one side, be certain that some hay has been added to the chamber safter the other side tied a knot.
