How to tell if there is hail damage on roof.

I have the 30 year composte shingles in roof.
May have been in hail while I was at work.
No neighbors to ask, no concrete drive or walk to see if shingles pebbles have fallen off. How can I tell if hail damaged the roof?

You call your insurance agent and ask them to have an adjuster come look.

If you have a garden it will get it first and the roof will be running a close second.

there will be dents in the shingles corners chipped and some stones will come off.

When in Texas can never call insurance agent when in doubt.
Been there, done that. Insurance adjuster/inspector said no damage to worry about. He was right about that; I found years later when had the house inspected during its sale. Only trouble is that QUESTION is still on my record today. Same as an auto wreck for a car.

I called a highly recommended roofing contractor. He took a look at it and told me to call my insurance adjuster. The insurance adjuster looked at it and accepted the contractor"s quote for a full replacement. I paid only my deductable. This was Mississippi Farm Bureau Insurance.
