I know they say there is no such thing as stupid questions but this seems like one. What is a good way to make sure my dealership loaded the tires like they said they would. I bought a smaller tractor but I picked up a vehicle frame that only ways a couple hundred pounds and the rear end seemed bouncier than I expected. Just wondering if there is any way to make sure.

Cold weather you will see a frost line if they are loaded or carefully try and let out a little air. If filled with fluid some fluid should squirt out depending on where the valve stem is located. at 12 o'clock may just be a small spurt. Between 3 & 9 should be steady stream.

If the tires are loaded, have the valve stem at 6 O'clock position and push in the core like you are going to check pressure. If loaded you will get liquid come out instead of air. Loaded tires are usually filled to the 10 O'clock position or about 75%. This is done so the liquid in the tires is above the wheel. A wheel submerged in liquid ballast cannot rust with no oxygen. If you want to check loaded tire pressure, have the valve stem at 12 O'clock position. then you can add or removed air as needed.

Park it in the sun for a couple minutes and feel the tire. If it is hot on top and cold below the rim, it has fluid in it. If it is same temp all around, it is air.

Take the tire off the rim. IF there is a lot of fluid it was loaded ;)

3500lbs L3200 & loader... Pretty sure this happened after I got the rears loaded... Picked up a gate on my pallet forks, 100lbs, definitely under 200. It was only a light gate, so I didn't put any ballast on the 3pt. Go down the hill to set the gate up against the barn. Let off the go pedal (hst) & keep going. Jam on brakes, keep going. I now have nice pallet forks sized holes in the back of my barn & skid marks (not in the grass).

I forgot to put it in 4wd & intentionally decided to not bother with 3pt ballast then paid the price. Either one would have saved me. ALWAYS put propper ballast on your 3pt if you are going to use the loader. If you can't figure out where a tractor has most of its traction in under a second looking at it you shouldn't be driving one.

Others already noted tap the valve & liquid will come out. Really doesn't matter where, enough to make a mess if the valve is at the top, side or bottom.

Put your compressor to it and start pumping, (make sure you don't care about the air fitting you use because it will be rusted in 10 minutes)..If you hear gurgling, it's loaded..

Can they recite the alphabet? Roll in a straight line? Touch the tip of their tread to the center of the rim? If you answer "no" to any of those, they are likely loaded! ;)

AND if you want to tell how much fluid they put in, you can start with the valve stem at 3 o'clock for instance, check for fluid and then drive the tractor forward a bit, check again and repeat until you only get air. Take a 4 foot level and hold it horizontally until the bubble is centered and that will be your fluid line. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I think the easiest, non-invasive, method is look for the "frost line" on a cold morning. What you will see - the upper portion of the tire will be frost free - the lower portion will have frost on the tire. There will be a horizontal line across the tire that will show exactly how much "fluid" is in the tire.
