how to transport a set of drag discs

Easiest and cheapest way is to put down some old cheap lumber in your trailer floor and haul it over there. Having any of this fall off in front of a following vehicle would be bad news.

I didn't catch how wide these discs are, but I have an idea.

Load them on your trailer at your farm with a FEL. Put them on the back of the trailer with the discs facing backwards. Back the trailer into a bank when you get to your destination, back the H up to the trailer, hook up and drag them off the trailer. Then you will have to get them home... Hey, atleast I solved half the problem for you :laughing:

ok thanks for all the ideas, I have a FEL, and a trailer and a truck, but i want to use my farmall H (which doesnt have a FEL) to pull the discs. The road i need to travel is also paved and i have to go through town. I was thiniking about attaching an old trailer axle to the top and rear of the discs and just flipping them over to haul down the road. Maybe someone has done somthing like this?

How would you flip the disks back over at your destination? You have an uphill battle on your hands. Is this going to be an annual thing or is it a one time thing? Sometimes certain things just are not practical, not to say that it can't be done, just more trouble than it's worth.

I was thinking i would just flip it myself, which i have done before. I think you are correct it seems to be more trouble then its worth. I will just load it on the trailer and pull the trailer with the loader.
