I wouldn't say "sponsored" is the right word, as far as I am familiar with his operation. A lot of times he outright purchases the product he reviews. He isn't doing it to get more equipment...He is more than qualified and able to have his own equipment to use. He does use "supplied" equipment though, to give the viewer a broader range of experience, and understanding from product to product. He knows his audience, and tries to supply them with what they are needing and looking for.
