how wide is b7100

I need to tow a B7100 for a friend tonite, and need to know how wide that tractor is. The trailer I use only has decking down the sides, instead of a full deck. My B8200 fits on it, but I think it is wider than a B7100. The spacing between the decking is about 48".

I have access to another trailer, but do not want to go get it unless I have too.

Does the B7100 have turf or ag tires??for if its turf tires than its pretty darn close to the B8200.

Hi Thomas,
This one has Ag tires. My buddy just bought it. He had to make a short trip out of town before I thought to ask how wide the tractor is.

Manual says 40 inches, but you could add 4 inches if he reversed his rims.

Just took a look at the B7100HST operator's manual..Wheel base 55 1/8 inches..Overall width..40 to 44 inches.

We got it home. The back tires were fine; they were adjusted wide already. The fronts though, were pretty narrow for the deck of the trailer. They were hanging on to the edge of the decking, so we ran it up on there, to where they were on top of a cross brace. We only had to go a few miles, so we took it easy, and checked it before we got to the main road. It was chained down very securely... If I had to tow further, I would have added some more decking.

The tractor looked reasonable for $6k. It is an ex rental with 1600 hours. It shows signs of use, and needs some repair, but all is minor. He bought it from a private party, so the rental company must have sold it with really low hours.

Wondering what year your friends B7100 would be??..for maybe I could help w/some info if need be..ahh long as its a1995,B7100HST w/a rear mower. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Well... It would help if I got the numbers right/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif It is actually a B1700. He had a dealer do a check and they said something from '95-97(he didn't have the serial number at the time. For some reason though, I automatically had B7100 in my tiny little brain /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

It is a pretty good little tractor. It has loader, scraper, R1's, power steering, AND Tip/Tilt.

He is interested in info, but from a search on this site and metacrawler, I found very little info. I was a bit suprised. In the next day or two I will try to dig a little deeper for him.
