Not just a new member but a first time tractor owner and new owner of an older tractor. Massey Ferguson 1433v. Not sure of the year yet.

Just fenced in about 5 acres of horse pasture last year (took almost every weekend from Spring to Fall) and have the tractor to work on it.

Will have some questions and try posting in the correct places and look forward to researching and learning from everyone about tractor's and everything that goes along with it.

Also, I did not have an owner's manual so found agropub and purchased the owner's manual but it is annoyingly restrictive...but it will have to do for now.

Anyway, look forward to hearing from everyone.

Thanks for the welcome.

We pretty much have the horses (one ours and one not) taken care of for now.

Pasture is separated into two sections grazing grass planted last year.

Used the tractor with an auger from my brother-in-law to get the post holes started then hand dug the rest.
Then the backhoe to dig the trench for the water lines...in sand. That was the most frustrated I have ever been with a project. Had to dig below the frost line to lay water pipe for Nelson waterer that sits between the pastures.

Anyway, all that hard work is done. Still have to do the electric wire and neaten up where we did the digging and re-seed.

Will be posting soon on the tractor, have a hydraulic leak in the loader's control box. Those are my layman's terms---not sure what the control box is actually called.
