Hello gentlemen (and ladies, I've noted),
My wife and I retired about six years ago and acquired about 130 acres in the central PA mountains intended to be subdivided for our retirement and children's homes. Not surprisingly, the military and jobs took the kids out of the area. That's why I am now an owner of tractors and other assorted toys and a place to play with them!
I purchased a well used Ford 1520 to help me with a barn build and to open and maintain old logging trails and to build food plots. More recently and as an eventual replacement of the 1520, I bought a Branson 4220i because of some positive recommendations and the fact it has a needed backhoe. I use the tractors hard, but maintain them as best I can and store them inside. Both have met my needs well with few breakdowns except what might be expected from "senior citizens"!
I look forward to drawing on the deep bench of knowledge here and contributing when I can.
