I am Tom from Georgia and I am a proud owner of a Farmall Super A. It is down at the moment with Hydraulic issues that I am ready to pull my hair out over. I am the second owner of the tractor as it was bought new by my Wife's Grandfather.
I have used it much since acquiring it at his passing in 1994. I had to leave it behind when we moved out of state to attend College and while gone a family of field rats moved in to the manifold and somehow managed to get down in to the cylinders. We liked to never have discovered the problem when I returned home. It seemed to have been locked up or frozen but when I pulled out one of the spark plugs, water literally squirted out. We pulled the head off and there in the down piston cylinders were the two rat's nests. After clearing the debris and honing the cylinders we put it back together and fired her up. Running wise, it runs like a champ except for the hydraulics which develop a small pin hole in the steel line and I can't seem to get it repaired. I am rather frustrated at the moment but haven't given up just hit a wall is all.
