Howdy,
A new member intro forum is a first for me...I just need to get out more I think.
I'm the "proud" new owner of a Mitsubishi D2650FD that's a few years "old" on a refurb. Traded my 95 YJ straight across for the tractor, FEL, bush hog, box blade and 16' trailer. Drove 2 hrs to trade, and 2 hrs back, and then it got classic...
Fired her up to pull her off the trailer and the water pump starts imitating one of those big decorative landscape fountains. Shut her down, repositioned the trailer to make a mad dash to the garage (it was 40F outside), and the starter imitates one of those clicky things that goes clickity-click, and that's all it does. Jumped her, and the water pump is back to doing its water pump thing, but roughly 8 different hyd fittings on the FEL start imitating pavlov's dogs after the bell rings. Well...she's sitting in a pile of kitty litter, in the garage, sans battery. Apparently I drove through a tractor gremlin ambush on the way back home...or the guy just saw me comin'.
Yes, yes...everything worked before I started for home. It's kinda funny now, and the previous owner has offered to pay for the water pump.
Thanks for listening to my story, and 'howdy' again! I'm off to try out the search functions and browse the forums.
Cheers!
