Wife bought a new Kubota Sidekick side by side this summer. Dealer had to order one as she wanted it on Kubota Orange (is there any other color??)))..

Anyway, we have had it 6 months now and no payment book. Asked my dealer about it, he said, 'on the way'. That was 4 months ago. No payment book.

Wonder if Kubota is giving it to us gratis?....:D

Nice gift.

I would bet that you are much more likely to get a late payment notice with charges included. At least that's the way it would work for me.I hope that they are more generous with you, if so,Merry Christmas.

Well, if you see a recovery flatbed backing into your driveway soon, i`m not thinkin it will be to take it to the dealer for a free service...lol.
I would have called somebody at kubota long before now if it were me. You`re likely gonna have to catch up on some payment`s and late fee`s by the sounds of it.

I hope that you have a "paper/email trail" of you requesting and inquiring about this payment book... just to be on the (legal) safe side.

They still do payment books? Haven't seen them in 20 years....

Could be Kubota sending you payment book for Christmas present...hang on those $$$'s since purchasing side by side.

I hope the OP posts the resolution of this when it happens and I hope it all works out in his favor.

But...
I'm guessing like others he is going to be hit with late fees, penalties, etc... and perhaps a credit score impact. Be prepared to make a very large payment to get caught up.

Good luck!

Actually, being older and responsible adults, the monthly payments are current (and have been). We have been paying on time using the original contract number and Kubota has been cashing the check. The problem is, we have no hard copy of the transactions except the cashed check notices from out bank and nothing from Kubota so, how do we determine when the loan is satisified?

In the case of out farm equipment, we pay quarterly and prior to the payment due date, we receive a hard copy payment voucher we remit on, which is kind of what I expected from Kubota but to date, we have received nothing.

Was at my dealer yesterday and mentioned it to him (I know the owner personally and do all my business with him) and he told me what we are dealing with (or not dealing with) is very out of the norm and he would contact Kubota. which I presume he has.

This purchase is farm related and as such needs a hard paper trail as it's a tax offset just like the other farm equipment (tractors and implements are). As a company engaged in the business of farming for profit, we require hard records, always.

How ever it plays, I'll post it. We aren't even thinking of welching on anything or wanted anything for free, just wanting the paper trail to be there for the government and our accounting firm.

Can you not sign up for online account access with Kubota Finance? I'm sure there is a way to have an online access created using your contract number. This is how my MF payments are paid to AGCO.
