Rear Finish Mower Howse C372 - Used - Your Opinion

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to bounce this off the forum. I ran across a used Howse C372 Finish Mower at a local dealer. It is a consignment sale and was used by a home owners association. They replaced this mower with a zero I am told.

According to Howse, this is a unit produced in 2005. They told me the only big changes were updated spindles and solid tires. The seller is asking for $500 and I am thinking of offering $350. The pictures actually make it look worse than I think it is, but it does have some rush and flaking paint. Besides the flat tire and maybe new blades (and a little TLC), the unit appears to be in good shape. Here are a few pics. Please tell me what you think.

If you can get it for $450 or less (I suspect the seller will come down $50 if you wave cash in his face) it should be a pretty good deal. That's assuming it all works, no leaks, blades & belts are decent shape (not new, but not wore slap out either). Might be tough to get him down to the $350 range you were thinking of, but you can certainly try!
