With nearly 550 hrs, the front cv joint boots split on my HPX. My JD dealer ordered the boots and I dropped it off for them to be installed. I had been having problems with the clutch not completely disengaging at idle to I asked them to check it out. They found the rollers inside the clutch had flattened and it needed to be rebuilt. Ended up installing a complete new clutch since a rebuild would have been as expensive when labor was added in. It drives like new now. I had been noticing a rattling noise at times when driving slow and thought it might be the belt slipping. Turns out that it was the clutch rattling. Repairs were not cheap but the HPX is good as new now.
