There are plenty of posts about that subject here! Broken fans. Some guys apparently had luck cutting the fan in half and bolting it on... I wouldn't do it. One fellow with a 2305 claimed to have been able to actually drop the driveshaft from underneath the machine. I have a 2210 with almost 800 hours now. The driveshaft bearings pooped completely last year with nothing left of the beaings but red dust, if you haven't done anything with the driveshaft yet this is the perfect time and replace the fan too! I don't know if it's possible to drop the driveshaft from underneath, didn't even try. What I did do was remove all levers, ROPS, seat, rear fenders, floor, and console to access the front driveshaft yoke where you have a helluva good time taking off a large C - clip to access a roll pin to release the shaft and slide it back towards the tranny and drop the shaft. It's an all day project. :banghead:
