HST / HSD Difference?

Quick one here - Any difference in HST vs HSD?

I assume one is hydrostatic drive and the other is hydrostatic transmission?

HST can refer to either 2wd or 4wd, HSD will refer to 4wd, and HSE will refer to 2wd.

Likewise, it can remain an HST by mechanical design but get some marketing spin that would drive us old guys crazy trying to figure where there heads were.:confused2: For that reason, it pays to look more at the design than what somebody calls it.
