Guys,
I just noticed a vibration/noise in the hydraulic outlet line that comes off the block on my BX 1500(I think this is the same on the 1830 and 2230 tractors) when you have a FEL. Anyway there is a fine vibration and the line gets very hot to the touch. Everything works fine and this vibration is there with the FEL on or off. So far I have spoken with 2 Techs and they have no real information for me. Any ideas about this? The line simply goes out to the FEL control so I do not know why it is getting hot and vibrating. Anyone have one of these tractors I would appreciate you checking the outlet line at the block for heat/ vibration next time you use it and let me know.
Thanks-TPS
By the way this little block comes off the Hydraulic control valve which has a block on it if you have a FEL. There are two lines that come off this block one is inlet and the other outlet. It is located inside the left rear tire as you look from the rear of the tractor and is on the side of the transmission.
Thanks

All my hydraulic lines get hot...also, one of my backhoe lines touched the frame once, and it was vibrating at a very high rate. It scared the crap out of me. I thought my pump was cavitating. Turns out I just pushed the hose over and everything was fine.:D

Deano,
Thanks for the input, I feel a bit better now what yours is doing sounds exactly like what I found. I never noticed it before so did not know what was right for it.

LBrown,
I forgot you had 2 1500's, next time you get the one with a FEL out and hot check the metal line that comes off the block and see if it has a slight vibration in it and if it gets hot to the touch when it is running.
I never noticed it before either as I never had a reasonto check before the vibration caused it to make a little noise when vibrating against another line like Deano spoke of.
Thanks for the replies guys,
TPS

I heard from Brady at Barlow Equipment where I bought my BX1500 and he said the Kubota rep thought I might have a defective Hydraulic relief valve. Anyone familiar with this? Where is it located and can I bleed it or check it myself?
Thanks,
TPS
