My BX24 amazes me with it's power, but I did have an issue this weekend, where I was fast dragging a scrape blade "up" my driveway to put the finishing touch on. I had the BX in high range, near full throttle (still in break-in mode) and fast forward motion, floating the scrape blade (turned backwards) and I could smell the smell similar to a burning clutch or brakes. The tractor wasn't "bogging", and kept speed.
What was getting hot? I'm not very familiar with these transmissions. I did a second pass at lower speed and there was no such smell.
