Huaquavarna riding mower hood wont close

The hood wont close all the way its brand new. opened it to gas it up and it doesnt close up flush.

Welcome to TBN. Look at the hood where it attaches or hooks in front be be sure the tabs are in the slots or on the pins, however yours is attached. Sometimes it just takes a wiggle.

Was it closed flush to start with? Did you leave anything on top of the engine? Anywhere else?
