Those few of you who read my previous post about popping the dipperstick cylinder on my BH75 might be interested to hear this. The service department called Friday and informed me that there were no cylinders for the BH75 available in the entire United States.

I bet that's because of the problem of them bending and breaking.
Hopefully it's because they recalled all that are in stock to be replaced with ones that won't bend.

How long are they telling you that you have to wait for new parts to be available?

He didn't give me a definite timetable. If I haven't heard anything by Thursday, I will be calling back Friday to find out what the deal is, because Saturday will be 2 weeks, and that is more than enough time to fix something like this.

That is apparently what is going on. They called yesterday to tell me it's finished. I didn't get any details other than 1. that it's covered under warranty (otherwise an ambulance would have been needed for someone there...just don't know who /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif), and 2. that the replacement cylinder is bigger than the previous one. He didn't say how much bigger, but I would think that Kubota is replacing all these cylinders (Volnavy and I can't be the only ones this has happened to) with beefier ones to stop this from happening.
