I installed one in my old house in 1975 (pre Home Depot versions) that still works great.
I have one on the front porch of my present home that is probably much older than that one and working good. The only problem I ever have with it is that the wind keeps it constantly turning and the screws holding on the blades come loose. I keep putting off putting locktite on the threads.
I have 4 newer ones of other brands in my present home that are pure junk.
