I have some really neat hunting shots I thought you guys would enjoy. I had fishery and wildlife students come out to do a project on the game preserve and one of them played camera man. The 4 boys helped me with the birds and I really enjoy the kids and I had three hunters they were very glade to have the kids hang with them very nice guys.

This was a 15 bird pheasant hunt that I guided we used my young setter so the students could see how to train a pointing dog and then my trusted lab. The kids learned how to catch the pheasants and sleep them and how to plant them.
They also learned how to reinforce whoa, and 1/2 thru the hunt it was so cold only 2 degrees and the wind blew about 30 mile an hours gusts. We came into the kennel to warm up, I showed the boys how to remove the breast and thighs, so they cleaned 8 of the birds for the hunters.
I am not sure who enjoyed this more the students or the hunters. When we went in for coffee the students really chatted up the hunters it was a fun day even thought it was wind chill factor about 25 below zero. I just thought if anybody would enjoy the photos you guys would.
The best shot of the day is the one with a cloud of feathers and the shotgun shell coming into view as it ejects. The second best shot was my lab chasing the pheasant and the hunter try to catch up on bird. He waited till I said drop it and it went down like a stone good control enjoyable guys to guide for.
I really enjoy having the students come out from the Wildlife and Fishery program, I have yet to have a bad one.
