Hurt wire fence?

Will spraying for brush/weeds along barbed wire / mesh wire fence harm the wire? I would be spraying with mesquite brush killer and/or Roundup type chemical.

I cant' speak to mesquite brush killer, but glyphosate (generic Roundup) will not.

just don't mix it to strong it might kill it. just kidding won't hurt anything

I have sprayed my fencelines with RoundUp (generic now) every year for many years and the galvanized fencing is unharmed.

Don't know about other weedkillers, but they would have to be awfully acidic to eat through the wire coating.
