husq 55 rancher start problem

Common problem with the 55, should have had a decomp valve as standard. I stripped mine, cleaned the cylinder of carbon by soaking it in kero, reassembled it, started easily for a while, then needed a pro wrestler to pull the starter!!
I ended up replacing the engine with an Italian Meteor engine with decomp valve, engine is slightly larger but fits perfectly, plus these are the best 2 stroke engines on the market. No more problems.

Funny..It seems as if my 372 is easier to pull than my old rancher ..The rancher appears to have some major compression,and will take the rope out of your hands at times
