I have a Husqvarna DRT 900 Tiller
There is a lever that is attached to the gear shift mechanism. The pin that attaches to the pivot mechanism that selects forward/revers/etc. has worked itself out and now the mechanism just turns with no effect on the gear changer. The pin is out of the vertical shaft that enters the drive box housing. I can still see the pin that has backed out of the holes in the shaft.
How do I reset the pin? I assume I tap it back in but have no idea how to align the holes.
I have attached a picture of the area. The big empty hole on the red arm at 11:00 is where the rod from operator control goes. I removed the rod. The red arms are connected to a vertical shaft with a pin and the pin has backed itself out. The pin is below the red arm to the left and can be barely seen.
This may be a matter of picking one of the tiller gear positions and then tapping back in place. But right now I am kinda' in "hunt and peck" mode.
