Any idea what would cause my chainsaw to lead bar oil? Not a massive leak - maybe a table spoon over night. Just odd. Not sure what to check. Saw isn't all that old, maybe 7-8 years with 100 hours on it. Love this saw!

Thanks,

Jay

Take your bar off and clean the saw well, especially the area where the bar attaches to the saw. There is a chance a wood chip or some crud has wedged the bar away from the oil hole, and the oil is seeping out there.

Thanks Will. I'll give that a try and report back.

Crack the bar oil cap and make sure there isn't pressure in the reservoir for some reason (temp changes, etc). Not uncommon on Husky saws.
