Hy tran Ultra = Ambra Multi G 134??

I was trying to order Case Hytran for my Case IH tractor. The new holland dealer says that the tractor (DX55) is the same as a TC55DA and the fluid that should go in it now it New Holland fluid. Are these two compatible or not? I am going to change my steering fluid filter and will lose most of the fluid, but there will still be Hytran in it. Can the two fluids be mixed? The parts on the two tractors are identical...same part numbers and all, so I know the fluid will work by itself, but can I mix it?

We've put hy-tran in fords,MF's,JD's for decades and even mixed with the likes of mal-mart TDH with no problems ?

I'm sure they are compatible but the only way to make sure is to compare the spec for HyTran Ultra and Ambra 134G.

My local NH dealer service department told me that they were not compatible and that they seperate when mixed.

I found this while searching Google for the answer...

"New Holland oil AMBRA Multi-G 134 is comparable to Case IH oil NEXPLORE. Both are CNH specification number MAT3525.

New Holland Oil AMBRA MasterTran is comparable to Case IH oil HY-TRAN ULTRA. Both are CNH specification number MAT3505."

So they seem to be different specs, if this info is reliable.
