I have purchased the second rear hydraulic set for my TC 33D and have a question. I have noticed that on my current coulers I can not attach hoses that are under pressure. All Ford - farm tactors seem to be able to this. What is a hydraulic couler called that can hookup hoses under pressure?

I am presuming you have quick couplers. All hydraulic connectors should be relieved of their pressure before you make your connections. You do this in most cases by jiggling the hydraulic control lever while the engine is not running. You have probably have for some reason not had much pressure in lines when you were connecting your other hoses. If you still have pressure in the lines after this procedure then you can relieve the pressure by covering the end of the coupler with a clean towel and push the end against something solid. This will open the end just slightly enough to push out the fluid under pressure. Use the towel cover for safety reasons and to prevent a mess.
