Hyd fluid problem?

I've noticed a small amount of fluid coming from this area(see attached) of the hydraulic valve for my loader/w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif.

Can anyone tell me what exactly this thing is and what it does? It's not mentioned in my loader manual.

Is it possible that this is not a bad thing?

Paul,
Maybe you should have your dealer look at the leak,for I believe thats a press in piece...and if I remember "o" ring seats it.
