Yesterday while hooking my battery maintainer back up on my TC34DA I noticed a leak where the rubber hose connects from the hard line to the oil cooler was wet. Not sure if it was coming from the hose or the connection from the rubber hose to the cooler. Had used tractor to clean driveway of snow and also the day before with temps around 20F. Not sure if the cold temps with oil thick had anything to do with this or not as I had warmed the tractor for 10-15 minutes before using it. Checked hose clamps and they seemed pretty snug but I used a small ratchet and socket and gave them a little more anyway. Looked at end of rubber hose an it looks just like 5/8 heater hose with a single thread in it for reinforcement. Not sure how much pressure is at cooler end in system. Anyone experienced this before? Looking beside battery there was very little oil lost so cannot help but believe the cold temps had something to do with this pushing the thick oil around hose end. Started tractor back up after tightening clamps and did not see anything leaking. Would think a serious leak would be spewing instead of a drip down hard line on battery shelf.
