Hey Rick, Do you know if there is a port somewhere on the transmission I can get a temperature sensor screwed in? I have a diverter valve on the front. oh yeah TC34DA. Run it for years Snow plow and Top grapple on the bucket. Lately I have built a front attachment for an auger drive and now working on a leaf blower. They both use hyd motors at around 7gpm . A little slow on the auger but it works ok . The motor was spec'd a long time ago for something else but close enough. The leaf blower motor is new and was spec'd for the 7gpm. I am worried about running hot so I am putting in a temp gage. I could drill a hole in the fill cap and stick it down there.
Or surface mount it on the input line to the cooler. Have to do some testing to see how the screw in sensor works as a surface contact. I don't want to cut the line. This is my preference at the moment unless I can find a port in the transmission someplace. I just changed the transmission oil so I am not too excited about pulling a plug but I would like the option. I could put it out on the attachment but it would be better on the tractor.
BTW before you moved I stopped in at PP tractor to say hello but you were out on the road. Thanks for your insight over the years.
