My neighbor has a Danauser Hyd. Post hole digger that he is willing to let me use for some fence building. I have a JD4300 with the 3-scv for a Mid-Mount mower and the hyd. quick connect connections in the rear.
My question is: Is there any reason for this not to work with the PHD? Is there anything that I have to keep in mind on the hookup? I can't think of any reason it will not work but just checking to see if there is something that I might have missed.

Thanks in advance.

Other than the quick-connects being the correct size, I'd only wonder about the GPM flow required for the PHD versus your tractor's maximum GPM flow through the limited sized fittings for your mid-mount mower. If everything fits, I think flow will be your limiting factor.

The only problem aside from the size of the fittings would be the direction of spin. You would have to try it out, and if its the wrong way then just reverse the hose hookup.

Thanks guys. I didn't think there should be any problem but just wanted to verify.

I will only be digging holes for the corner posts, approx. a dozen. I plan on just pounding in the others, thus if there is some flow restriction and I don't have either the speed or maximum power that shouldn't be a problem. Just would lengthen the day.

Thanks for the response.
