Bucket will curl down to the usual stop but will only come up about 1/4 of the way from fully down. The hydraulic system loads down if I attempt to curl up past where the bucket stops.
Fluids, filters, connections all okay. Rear hydraulics work okay. bucket raise/lower works okay.

Sounds like a mechanical stoppage. All pivot points free and nothing jammed? I might try pulling a pin on one cylinder at a time and watching movement. If nothing wrong with any of the pivot points it would lead me to believe one of the cylinders is jamming for some reason.

You might try checking for free movement on the curl when the bucket reaches the point of loading the system. There is normally slack where the bucket can be manually moved a small amount by hand. Do you have that?

Sounds like a bent cylinder rod.

I'll bite on all of the above, but, a majority of the time when I see this issue on a customers unit its hydraulic. The hose coupler is apart or failed. Hoses are incorrectly hooked up. Was the loader just off for any reason? You stated the raise/lower function is OK. Dose it operate smoothly? Double chech you couplers to make sure they are locked together. Just looking at the won't work. they may look connected but they are not. Give them a tug and a push. Make sure the lock ring on FM side is ingauged.

Quick connect may be going bad. To check just change the bucket curle with the arm lift and see what happens. If the lift arm struggles than you have isolated the problem.

Thank for all the good suggestions. I have been busy elsewhere but will get to the loader Friday. I will try them all.

Sounds like a QA hose coupling has been bumped loose. Check them all for solid connection, as stated by others.

Thank you all for the great advise. Turned out to be a damaged hose coupling at the cylinder. No leaking but would not allow flow of the essential juices.

Glad you figured it out. Thanks for letting the group know.
