Does anyone have a non-New Holland part number/model number for the hydraulic quick connectors on the TC33DA? I am looking for something generic like a Grainger part number.

Thanks.

I use a Flat-Faced connector over the standard type. They're great for keeping dust and dirt out when disconnected. I usually give a quick shot of brake cleaner and wipe them off before reconnecting. I'm not sure of the brand but similar (or same) ones are available on ebay Item number: 7550662700. Just check for proper size.

Update: I have Parker FF series.

Tazz,
From the grainger catalog (#396 on page 1564) - there seems to be three different types of couplers:

1. Safeway/Pioneer Interchange
2. FD45 Series Industrial Interchange
3. 5600 Series Industrial Interchange

Is Parker FF another type or is it one of the three listed above? Are these the "standard" skid steer connectors that one always sees?

Also - is the flat face connector interchangeable with the "standard" type or do you need to put adapters on the tractor manifold to use them.

I haven't done too much with hydraulics and am trying to make heads/tails out of all the different quick connector types.

Thanks much.

Sorry for the delay, been super busy here.

I think the fittings in Grainger are Aeroquip (MFR) and are most likely not interchangeable with the ones you have. I would by a net M/F set.

Likewise, flat face fittings are not interchangeable with other styles. I just prefer them over the std. because they are easier to clean

When buying new hydraulic fittings make sure the thread is the same on the connector as the fitting thats compressed on the hose, and the connector is rated for the proper pressure.

Maybe someone else can help with the specifics. I'm no expert. on this.

Here is a link to a cross reference for quick couplers. Just choose the series that you want to compare. Most tractors use 4000 series couplers.

Thanks much for the link. The large number of different connector types makes it all confusing. Now I have something to work with. Thanks again.

Most ag machinery comes with a very, very, standard Pioneer coupling these days.

When I had rear hyd ports added to my 1720, the kit has some smaller fittings. I tossed them, and went with the bigger univeral female connectors. There are several different male connectors that fit these, some can be used under pressure, etc.

I'm not sure if new CUT style equipment comes with this smaller 'standard' fitting, or the regular ag stype Pioneer univeral?

If you will only have one or 2 of your own implements, then go with whichever style you want to use.

Since I have 5 tractors & a couple dozen implements with hyd connectors, _everything_ is going to conform to that Pioneer Universal ag port. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
