I have an old Ford 1200. I want to get a log splitter to hook on 3point system but am having trouble identifying the original hydraulic coupling fittings on the back ? Any idea what size and type came fitted to the Ford 1200 ?

Really could do with some help on this many thanks in advance.

Unscrew the QD fitting and take it with you to the hyd supply for a match up.

There were a variety of suppliers used over the years. JJ's suggestion is good because you want to make sure that the shoulder dimension matches. That would be the distance from the retaining balls (and the mating groove of the male end) to the poppet tip of both parts to ensure that an open passage is created when the two halves are joined.
