I have a Landpride RB3572 rear blade and recently added a hydraulic cylinder to control the angle feature. I went to my local farm store and purchased a 3.5" x 8" cylinder, 1/2" fittings, 1/2" hoses, and couplers. Since I already had rear remotes the installation was simple and fast.

I immediately went out and bladed my gravel driveway (approx. 500') and experimented with my new abilty to control the angle from the seat. It worked like a charm and made the job a lot easier. Should have done this a long time ago!

Here are a couple of pictures:

I am curious why you picked such a big diameter cylinder. No harm done but it's pretty big. I have been thinking of doing that myself and bought a cylinder 2 x 8 . Have not put it on yet. I figuired I would move it before I started and then it would be locked. I guess moving it on the fly with a full blade would require more force.

6sunset6,

I looked-up my blade on Landpride's website and saw they offered a hydraulic cylinder as an option for power angle. I looked at the part number and description and it was 3.5" x 8". Basically, I bought exactly what Landpride recommended.
