John Deere 5203. 2008 model year
I have an old John Deere Van Brunt 13x7 FB grain drill. I was needing to know the size and type of hydraulic cylinder to buy for it. The holes for attaching the cylinder are 24" apart in the engaged position. Looks like their is about 6" to 8" of travel to disengage. If you can help me I would also like a recommendation on brand type and quality.

You should go to www. smokestak.com which is an antique engine forum and they have a lot of posts about these grain drills.

You could also contact John Deere in Moline, Illinois about it as well.
