All four cylinders on my Yanmar 2700L front end loader are leaking around the seals. What type of packing/seals are in these cylinders? This is the factory loader that came with the tractor. thanks ron

YM2700 is a gray market tractor, the loader came from Japan with the tractor. It has all japanese markings and writing on it, so it may not be a yanmar, but it aint a bull dog either. The factory never made a loader. Yanmar had a loader made that they sold in the US under their name for the domestically sold Yanmar models. Are you saying the loader is a 2700L, or the tractor is a YM2700?
hi ron, i will say that if the loader is a Bulldog or V-Tec brand, parts will be a problem from most suppliers.
Do you have the Manufacturer's name or a model number?
What I would do to repair No-Name Cylinders is:
→ remove the cylinders and disassemble them to access the warn out part.
→ bring the removed seal and the cylinder parts to a quality parts house (hydraulic or bearing supplier, even a NAPA will help get the right seals by mic'ing components for the correct replacements)
→ when disassembled you may find o'rings are all that are needed, units need to be taken apart to find out
→ if the leak is not to bad, delay repair, for when the tractor repairs down time won't interfere with needs so much.
