Hydraulic diverter kit for Kubota Grand L

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience adding the hydraulic diverter kit to a Kubota Grand L loader valve as a means to add rear remotes? I have a L5460 (no FEL) and am wondering if this would be a viable, practical, or economical way to add two pair of remotes for a top and tilt setup. Here is the kit from the Kubota parts list:

Do you use the existing joystick controls for anything? If yes, then yes this diverter set looks like it would be a good option. :thumbsup: Didn't even know that it existed, thought that only JD did this. :scratchchin: If you are not using it and have no plans to use it, then just run some hoses back to the back from the existing couplers. You could get the actual factory rear remote couplers and mount or just make something up yourself. Either way, much less $$$ than getting the actual rear remotes.

Brian thanks for the your very helpful response. It makes me look at the diverter kit in a new way too, sort of as an alternative use of the joystick, correct? (Switch between say controlling a loader vs. rear ports/implements.) I currently don’t use the joystick so plan B may be the way to go.

If you want it to look factory, use the actual Kubota rear remote couplers-housings.

Pictures show the same couplers, but with different mounts.

No reason to not go with plan B. :thumbsup:
