Having just rebuilt a couple of cylinders on the FEL of my YM1500, it seems an appropriate time to drain the hydraulics and clean the screen. Exactly where is the drain plug and the cap for the screen on the YM 1500.

The drain pug is on the underside of the tranny and the screen is behind the hydro pump suction line on the bottom of the transmission housing.

Thank you, EFC.

The pump line coming off the transmission has a large bolt head through it, somewhere around 1 - 3/8". Then behind that is a plate with three bolts. That bolt head is either stuck, should not move or is a left hand thread. I really really don't want to break anything, so can you confirm that the bolt head does in fact turn and is a normal right hand thread. Meantime, its being sprayed with PB Blaster.

Thanks again,

Bob
