Odd behavior on my little Kubota B7300. The cap for the hydraulic fluid reservoir behind the seat and between the 3pt arms won't stay seated. The rubber o-ring is fine, the cap fits snug but shortly after using the tractor I'll find the cap sitting askew.

Did some troubleshooting and found it's related to using the front end loader. Is there possibly a blocked vent somewhere?

Yes I would suspect a blocked vent. Not sure where vent is located but people have reported problems with mud dobbers plugging vents

I just got out my hand-squeeze brake bleeder and had to de-mud two hoses and the catch can from both ends. There seems to be a bug to bottle-up every other size hole.

I had the daubers plug up the key hole on my Polaris ATP. I gave up cleaning out the key hole. Just heated the key and inserted. It's bondo'ed in place now.

Got me to thinking about the front and rear axle( hydraulic reservoir ) vents on the Kubota. Somebody must have spoken to the Kubota engineers. Both vents end with small diameter steel tubing. The ends of these tubings have been crushed down tight enough that it's not an attraction for the mud-daubers. Good solution to this potential problem.

Look under the seat of your Kubota for a rubber shepherds crook like fitting, make sure it is clear.

Looking under the tractor seat was great advice.

I removed the vent tube, squirted it inside and out with WD40 and blew out the gunk.

After cleaning the gunk out of my beard I re-installed the vent tube.

Coincidentally I had removed the plastic tool box from under the seat about a week ago as it had deteriorated. In place it would have otherwise obscured the vent tube.

Man can't do without a tool box so i upgraded to an ammo can. 50 cal. Tracer rounds were the same price so went with them.

I love my ammo can.
